Sony Music Entertainment launches new Southeast Asian label, OFFMUTE – Music Business Worldwide

Sony Music Entertainment has launched a new Southeast Asia-focused record label called OFFMUTE.

OFFMUTE is described as “a pan-regional label focused on championing new and emerging Southeast Asian” talent by drawing on the combined experience of Sony Music’s entire Southeast Asian team.

OFFMUTE has also announced three new signings.

They include: Clara Benin, who has amassed more than 25 million streams combined on Spotify and YouTube and has won multiple awards including Wishclusive Contemporary Folk Performance of the Year for her song I Rose up Slowly.

Mezzaluna, meanwhile, is a singer-songwriter based in Indonesia who will be releasing her debut single this year, which OFFMUTE will be amplifying across the region.

Lastly, liesl-mae is a an emerging recording artist based in Malaysia.
