Olamide is not a fantastic artiste, he thrives because the music industry is 70% Yoruba – Man says, Nigerians react

A Nigerian man has stirred Twitter with a controversial statement about the musical prowess of rapper, Olamide Adedeji.

According to the man in a tweet on Tuesday, January 5, via his handle @Bagofnuts_, Olamide is not a talented artiste.

He also said that the ‘Story For The Gods’ crooner only thrives because the music industry is dominated by Yorubas.

The man who claimed that Yorubas make up 70 percent of the music industry, further noted that it is why Olamide has little international recognition.

‘Olamide is not a fantastic artist. He thrives on the fact that the music industry is 70% Yoruba. There’s no reason he should be in any GOAT conversation, the top 3 are clear.

Exactly why he has little international recognition.”
